Colin Weaver - Every Time I Come Home
HEY! Here’s a song I recorded (to TAPE HAHA) in the big studio at recording school. I wrote the song, sang, and played all the guitars. My friend Josh Blair played bass and sang back-up vocals, and my friend Jake White played drums. We boosted the tape noise in the beginning so you could hear it coming on (hahaha). I mixed the song on the gigantic MCI console (which was fun). The only problem is that the vocals need to be compressed and turned up, as does the bass. And the piano is a touch too loud. And we only had a couple takes to do everything so the playing is pretty rough (at least on my part). But anyway, yeah! Here’s what I sound like recorded in a professional studio to 2 inch tape!
